Scorpio and Taurus and how not to be stuck

Clients have been asking, and talking, about feeling stuck this week (and its only Tuesday!). Conversations with the cards about what we hold onto and why, about how to break patterns which have become too habitual. About sovereignty and power and how to hold those lightly, without forcing. All very Scorpio Taurus, all very fitting with yesterday’s full moon. Yesterday there was thunder here for most of the hour leading up to the exact point of the full moon, of the Moon in Scorpio opposing the Sun in Taurus. Powerful energy. The Sun is approaching Uranus right now, so the potential is there for breaking up the possessive energy, the entrenched patterns. The will is there to make the changes - as I’m seeing with my clients this week.

The same energy is around in our house, our family too, as we clear one house and consider what belongs in our own. Conversations about what stays and what goes, about where it goes. About what has value, how that value is defined, who gets to decide. How we respond if that person’s values are different to our own. A deep awareness of the power of holding on, of the security it might bring people. But also of how stagnant it can become, how paralysing. So that we need Uranus, we need something or someone to break the pattern, or perhaps to remind us why we hold onto it. The harder you hold on, the more you hold onto, the more painful it is to let go when you inevitably have to. Because that is a Scorpio lesson - that everything dies in the end. Everything transforms. Even when the Taurus roots go so deep they are almost impossible to fully pull up.

Somewhere in there is a dinosaur…

Because sooner or later, we have to let go. And if we can do that, we clear space for something else. For the Taurus blooming and blossoming. We can lean into the wild energy of the season, embrace the intensity of the thunder.
